"Das Horseshoe bzw. Schöntal ist eines der besten Restaurants, welches wir im Kanton Schwyz haben. Es handelt sich hierbei um "gut bäuerliche Küche". Das Restaurant Schöntal wurde sehr schön renoviert, es ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Die Cordon Bleus sind super fein, ein Geheimtipp ist jedoch das Fleisch auf dem heissen Stein *lecker*. Nach einem feinen Essen kann man dann in der Raucherbar nebenan noch einen Schlummi nehmen. Oben hat es noch tolle Sääle für spezielle Anlässe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder!!"

"Travelling up the mountain daily to ski we stopped here one night to break up the trip and not have to cook in our ski accommodation Well the food was great including gluten free burgers which we don’t have at home, made one child very happy One thing to note, what would cost less than 30 at home was CHF65 which worked out to be over 50!!!!! I know the is currently weak but not that weak."

"This is a family run restaurant for several generations and you can tell by the warm hospitality of Canadian born Sonya and her Swiss husband the setting is very convenient near the station and the gardens create a special oasis.
