Great food and service! The no-bs down-to-earth menu and authentic experience here is perfect. I have great memories here from when I was a kid, and to come in again and have the excellent food was a treat. The crispy potato pancakes, great meatloaf jaegerschnitzel were well worth the trip. What Erin C doesn't like about Oak Chalet:
The worst service I have ever received. The 70 year old hostee wouldn 't sit us because we didn 't have a reservation because it was 'so busy ' when myself and my party looked around, there was no body was twenty 70 years old and fifteen little kids. This establishment should be ashamed about how they spoke to potential paying customs. Will never ever go back and suggest no one else does. View all feedback.
