"We only stopped by for a drink on a Sunday just before lunchtime. The place is nice with a chalet feel to it but the main restaurant is furnished in a more modern way, less wood, sparsely decorated and bright. The waiters are very well dressed, women in traditional Swiss dirndls and the men in waistcoats and ties. I took a look at their menu and their chef, who is mentioned all over the menu as well as in the introduction, seems to be well known and commands a 15 person kitchen brigade. Lots of repeaters seemed to be coming in for their weekly Sunday meals. The menu looked good and resembled all other Swiss mountain restaurants, albeit with higher prices. I am sure the food is good here as the restaurant seems to be the main attraction here.Next time round, we will dine here. I wonder if it can beat my beloved Alpstein in Wildhaus, my favorite restaurant in this town."

"If you like cheese fondue, you must try this place. I started with a mix salad. The salad was so fresh and the dressing was absolutely delicious. The menu had a ton of different variety of cheeses and also meat fondue. It was accompanied by potatoes, veggies, and even fruit. Wow! The atmosphere had a cozy and rustic feel. It was designed very well. The fireplace that you could roast marshmallows gave it a nice personal touch as well. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back."

"A great restaurant where you just feel good. charming traditional atmosphere. in winter they keep with their ski or sleigh on the ski slope on the way to underwater. all foid on the menu is fresh and with. much good quality. special recommendation for the cheesefondue mixed with dark beer and great house made brot: a must! service always very friendly. for me with distance the best restaurant in the Wildhaus/Toggenburg ski area. in any case a place where they feel comfortable at each occasion: romantic diner, family dinner or stop skiing. do not hesitate!"

"In this restaurant, we could take a break from traveling and drink local beer and some food. This was the introduction to a hearty Swiss cuisine. Excellent service a large group of friends for a short time!"

"It 's a big long hall next to the station with a nice view. The hall is a wooden structure with a big heater in the middle. You may either buy the food yourself or being served with a higher price. It doesn 't provide menu in English but the staff is helpful and explain to us. The food is standard as what you would expect for a restaurant at cable car station. The environment is more delicious than the dishes."
