Really loved this place. It is a total dive. The food was great, served while hot and plenty for the price. The service was good and our waitress was very nice and efficient. We all got different meals. I had the french toast, which was excellent and the half order was enough. The bacon was also very good. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular place for me. What Broken Angel doesn't like about Frank's:
After church, my boyfriend and I craved breakfast at Franks due to its good reviews and proximity to his work. The gentleman who greeted us was pleasant, but the waitress with red hair was dismissive and rude. We felt unwelcome and ignored based on our race. Disappointing service and attitude. We won't be returning!! View all feedback.
I went to school here and never even knew about this place. The inside sort of looks like it was caught in a tornado but the food, service, and locals were great.
It is exactly what they say it is a classic greasy spoon.
I've wanted to try Franks for a while now. I door dashed the Franks famous French Toast, Western Omelet with cheese and a side of hash browns. The Omelet was perfect. It had lots of fillings, very cheesey, and a great sized portion. The hash browns were uninspiring unfortunately. I wished they were a little crispier and they need more salt. Now, the French Toast was the star of the show. Crispy exterior with a light doughy center, it was cooked perfectly. It's easily the best french toast I've had in Ann Abor. It's definitely worth going back.
It 's cheap but not much else. Took about 30-45 minutes to get the omelette I ordered, food was okay but definitely not good.
Very cozy, family vibe! The French toast was PHENOMENAL!!! Sooo good!!!! 10/10! Everything was tasty and the service was great! I will be back!
