Every time we visit Nafplio, we also visit Pirgiotika village to have dinner at Liotrivi taverna. It’s the typical Greek village taverna with great roasted meat and homemade mezes. People are friendly and everything tastes great. You should try it for yourself. Just make sure that it’s open
The owner was rude enough to make us never visit this restaurant again. All the rest were close to average.
Liotrivi has a gourmet meat menu along with traditional Greek meay dishes. We had the picanha steak which was excellent. Make sure you book ahead on busy evenings.
Right in the centre of the Pirgiotika village, in the square, quite practical for families with little children as they can play there. Good grilled food though variety could be more, friendly staff. Reservation is advisable as due to the popularity of the place and covid restrictions an empty table is hard to find!
