We went to this establishment via their good notes on Google. Oops don't hold English......they're not recognized for their gastronomy......finally we'll see.....We have 2 cockers with us......ahhh they're welcome.... thank you, ma'am. A bowl of water is served to them... that's great. In a very nice atmosphere we start the meal ... it is very good and very copied. The price is very correct given the hyper tourist lo... What Océane Lebrun doesn't like about Creperie de la Source:
Les crêpes sont bonnes mais difficile de rater une crêpe - le jour de notre visite quelques produits manquaient mais non annoncé au moment de la commande d'où des déceptions. Crêpe Suzette ratée ... service très anglophone un peu limitée en français. Le cadre reste agréable - c'est une adresse sympa pour un repas simple sans plus View all feedback.
Perfect! Nothing to say the "special quiche" dish was perfect, the salad was good and the rather correct price for a tourist village restaurant. Smaller, managers/servers speak French and English and are very welcoming and helpful. Pavlova dessert was delicious and I highly recommend this dessert not too sweet! You can eat on the terrace with a beautiful view of the region and the village.
A magical experience! Very friendly and accommodating staff, owner was a sheer delight and French chefs completed an authentic experience. So much more than crepes too, 3-course menus for lunch and evening meals. The balconies at the rear offer the best views when eating in Aubeterre. All in all, having tried the rest over two weeks, this is the by far the best food, service and ambiance. Perfectly priced too!(Also the cleanest toilet in France!)
One of our regular visits when we drive through Aubeterre, as it's a great stop. Really friendly, welcoming owner and staff. We've been visiting for some years and noticed each time there have been more new improvements. Spotless rest rooms and facilities. They serve salads...and crepes etc which are good quality and nicely presented. It's full of character and if you're on the terrace, lovely views over Aubeterre. It's not meant to be a Michelin restaurant, but it's great value and a cheerful place to visit, so highly recommended. I've just checked to verify they're open again this year, as you don't know with Covid, and they are so we'll be back yet again touch wood
Very tasty crepps and adapted menus to make a smaller part for our 3 years old, which was really helpful. the atmosphere was ok, no music, we were there for a pretty early lunch.
After walking past the restaurant the day before we decided to eat here tonight out if curiosity. I am glad we did because me and my boyfriend had a wonderfull evening here tonight. The dinner and crepes we had as a dessert were amazing ..the ambiance was perfect! The owner was serving, she was very friendly! And the view was indeed stunning. Much love from Amsterdam. :
