There are a lot of bars around the square but this looked interesting so we sat outside for pre dinner drinks...nice lady serving and the Bourgogne blanc was good and accompanied by some crisps and olives...a great place to sit back and watch the world go by! View all feedback.
What bellahadidfan doesn't like about Aux Hospices:
food= ok but mega expensive, service= 0, very bad, lady (probs owner) very arrogant and she ask us to pass around the food. she was very unkind and she manipulated my nephew into buying 20 euro wine glass. How little. wonder why the restaurant was completely empty, we were the only clients and the food arrived very late. bad experience, don't go. but Beaune is very beautiful!! ::D View all feedback.

I had dinner here with my family, but the food was terrible and the waiter was unhelpful. We wanted some child friendly food for my child, but the waiter said they could not change the chicken volaille and chips to make it child friendly so it came with a mustard sauce that made it inedible for my 4 year old. I ordered boeuf bourguignon, which was just a large lump of fat with a tiny piece of beef that I gave to my child. A disgusting dish and they must have forgotten the red wine (in a town full of wine cellars). I wanted some wine with it but the waiter never bothered to come and take the order. We even had to go into the hotel to pay for the trash we ate, although the staff sent us to 3 different places to pay so they really don't know what they are doing here. Definitely do not eat here, there are plenty of much better and cheaper places to eat.
Sat down and was quickly served. The food was delicious and was the least expensive in the area. The beer was a bit pricey but it didn't matter considering everything else. Would certainly visit again.
I had a dish of sardines and olives here, and it really was lovely. The service was lacking in the smile department which was unfortunate as we just happened upon this beautiful little town and everything was wonderful there.
Charmant authentiek plezant met zicht op binnenplein . Aanrader kaas en salami bord en de escargots zijn top
