Quick service other than had to wait a little bit for a drink refill, and it felt oddly dark inside. Food was good, portions were fair. Not a huge fan of the shrimp which I usually love to eat, felt a bit soft and unflavored. Good quesadilla otherwise, and enjoyed the hefty amounts of salsa and chips! View all feedback.
What James Barnett doesn't like about Cabo Fish Taco:
The food was pretty good and Ingredients all tasted fresh. The pill here is the location next to VT, other than that the staff was friendly but not very attentive. The food was better than I thought it would be being a busy place but everything was sloppy and a bit cold. Hit or miss, you roll the dice. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are equally delicious as the rest of the menu without question. Parking: Parking can be difficult so either be prepared to walk from street parking or wait for a spot. It's worth it. My husband and I were vendors for the Steppin’ Out Street festival, and we basically ate every meal (both takeout and dining in) we could at Cabo! Best fish tacos we’ve ever had, best fried plaintains, best steak burrito we could go on and on. The chef is clearly a master of his craft. The manager even came to see how our meal was and we had a great conversation with her the staff are just as wonderful as the food! I wish we had them in our own town, but we’ll settle for coming every time we visit Blacksburg in the future. The food is a more of an americanized version of mexican food. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this is not the place to go. The service was great as always and the vibes are pretty neat as well. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely NO VALUE for the money! Skimpy and overpriced.
