Had a really great meal today here. Hubby loved his steak and went to food coma for a while.This place seems to be outstanding especially considering how few restaurantoptions there are in this area View all feedback.
What Augustin Arnaud doesn't like about Top of the Stairs:
0 service. We called ahead to make sure there was no wait and when we arrived there was maybe 4-5 people at the bar. No waiter approached us for menus or anything like that. We approached and asked for menus where we were ignored. Large groups of people came in about 20 mins after we arrived and a waiter immediately went to them and took their orders while continuing to ignore us. We went to main cashier and put in are order and was told we needed to pay then and there. Here we are over a hour since then with no food brought to our table while we have witnessed about everyone else obtain there orders. (Had to go to front for refills as well)Over all tragic experience, especially with the other options in the area.
We went for date night and The Coop did not disappoint. The cocktails were delicious, the appetizer (we got the tater tots) was fantastic, and our entree (steak and quesadilla) were ridiculously good. Each thing was cooked perfectly with amazing flavors. We got the bread pudding with ice cream, and it is my new favorite thing. Our waitress was very sweet, and did a great job. New favorite food in town for sure!
Fried calamari is 1 of the easiest things to overcook but his was perfect! Ribs were thick and melted off the bone! Shrimp was delicious as well as the fresh cut fries! Everything was done just right! Great job!!!Food: 5/5

First time eating here. Will definitely return. Not very crowded, however, it's a Wed and the students have left for summer. We understand the crowds still roll in on weekends. Andrew our bartender/waiter was excellent! He knew the menu, was patient with our many questions, attentive without being obnoxious. The drinks he made were perfect! Food was great. So many options for all price points. Drinks were very fair priced. Strongly encourage folks to eat/drink here!
I had the BEST entree for dinner last night. Ribeye steak cooked perfectly with mushrooms/onions, fries, a vegetable medley that was out of this world. The horseradish sauce on the side is something I will have a craving for now. Excellent chef!! Katie the bartender is a sweet gem as well.
