"Been here lots of times in the past while out walking. Different owners and different standard of care. We called in today after a long walk and looking forward to our usual coffee. Although still serving people food at their tables, when I asked if we could just have 2 coffees the answer was a resounding NO we are closed. It was 3.50pm. We would have been happy with a take out coffee but again the answer was no. Obviously the people who were still eating would have been there longer than 10 minutes and I understand they didn't want to take food orders but would it really have been that much trouble to make 2 coffees. In g Future we will give our custom to the Prince Llewellyn in Beddgellert who even when really busy greet their customers with a warm welcome and great service. Caffi Gwynant only opens 4 days a week and you would think they would be glad of the custom. Obviously not!"

"We have the impression a long time ago that it was a bit a basic, greasy spoon for budgetcamper. that is not the case now. it offers suppe (her nice with huge pieces brot,) salat, paninis, etc. I had a Welsh...Rarebit that I enjoyed. we often use the a5 and will certainly call again. it just worked so well."

"This was our second visit here and it was every bit as good as the first. The service was friendly and caring as well as efficient. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. A number of reviews have commented about the cost but I believe...that you get what you pay for and the service, location and food served is worth the money. Just to emphasise my previous statement, we booked a dinner reservation in advance and travelled miles to dine by the sea at Dylan's and we were not in anyway disappointed. We will definitely return in the future."
