"First time visiting Bakers, and I rely was wowed when walking in!! . Have previously called in this place many years ago when it was a hand shop, least to stay, it's come a long way since then!!. The new owners have certainly put in a lot of work, creating a new modern and trendy place.!!! The layout and design rely dose compliment the building!!. We call in on the off chance whilst out on a walk around Egerton. The staff were more than happy to accommodate use, seating use in one the of the booth to the front building. The staff were brilliant!! Drink arrived fast, an as quick as we ordered our meals, food was arriving ... must admit we were spoilt for choice at first!! There is a great selection of dishes on offer.!!! We opted for the goats cheese starter an also the halloumi, and both were seriously scrummy!!! Deffo one for those who like a cheese fix .. For main we had the Italian chicken gnocchi also a burger an fries, both dishes were generous in portion an rely nice!! The burger was certainly a challenge, rap ya mouth round!! Massive .. Deffently be returning to try out some other dishes an would certainly recommend to family an friends. !!!"

"Sadly since the old chef has left the food has gone down hill, the food is'nt piping hot anymore, hardly any veg in the meals, just afew carrots and abit of brocolli, smaller portions, everything just seems to have been done on the cheap side and you can really tell especially for us old customers. The meat is nowhere near as good quality and the flavours just are'nt there, will only be a matter of time until people will notice the same. Sadly i will not be going back again"

"Had a great meal with my family, the employees were very busy as they are like many places, fighting to find personal. eating was absolutely amazing and we had a great night. "Good small local bar. makes a good mojito. love the names of the cocktails e.g. fiddle on the dach and che guava. feb 2020 had a cape gatsby burger and pommes and it was good to go mainly the shredded bark with the burger. for the owner: in order to make it a top dollar burger, they must work on beef patty that grilled/charred better on the outside, but keep a juicy bite on the inside. good luck!"
