The Traditional Chip Shop - Bondi Beach

Soggy chips says everything. Grief Grief Fish did not come with lemon. Barely traditional. Not even confusion in tomato sauce can save it. Grief I would not recommend this place. Try the other two a few a few shops on both sides.

Should read reviews before eating. I was curious about the place when the work colleagues from Great Britain go, which use the Erie fish and chip shops frozen chips in the U.K. They use hand cut fresh chips. Ordered cod and chips. Fish was Fad and chips were fine, but nothing to write home. What had shocked me was that the vinegar was heavily diluted on the table and boasting the salt in the shaker and proximately impossible to go out. When I opened it, I discovered that they had mixed it with uncooked rice from a strange ground. Never again, give me a Australian fish and chip shop every day about this ****.

I ordered the battered cod and chips. Fish was dry and overlooked, there was no lemon wedge for the fish, and chips were muddy. Tartare sauce had to be paid separately. Overall bad experiences and I can not imagine anything good about my meal. Would not recommend.

I would never come here again, terrible food and service. I've ordered grilled fish and cheesy fries, the fish came without lemon, the chips were homemade, whatever is beautiful, but they were muddy, and as they frying in Sydney cheese fries, they expect the cheese to melted, it is Not. It is only sprayed, crushed cheese. I went about the cheese to be melted again and then, when it was done, the waitress looked ins disgusted to me and made a comment then in return I said, yes, that makes more sense and she has very defensive and said in a disgusted tone " excuse me".

We went in because the shop sign says it is authentic. It may be authentic UK fish and chips flavour but I have to say this is not something I like. Chips are worse than the ones I can buy from supermarket. For there is only one piece of fish served and loads of chips. The cheesy chips was served with unmelted cheese. When we went to the counter and ask if we could have it heated so the cheese can melt, was told this is how it’s meant to be. If you want lemon with your fish and chips, you will also need to ask the staff. Way overpriced and very rude staff.
