"Fabulous. A short menu (which changes weekly featuring local and seasonal produce cooked and presented with imagination and flair. The passion for food (and good service is evident from the beginning when the menu board is brought over to your table and the dishes described and explained. Highlight for me was a starter of fennel presented in three ways with a zingy orange dressing which was perfect as a 'clean tasting ' beginning to lay the ground for a richer flavoured main course. The mains did not include a vegetarian option (this is France! , but there was always a wonderful fish option. Fantastically well priced... for one, two or three courses. Wine on offer is excellent choose an aperitif as you decide what to eat, and then let them suggest a wine for your meal: they really know how flavours complement each other!!! Service was brilliant and every effort made to make sure we understood (our French being rather poorer than their English! . Tucked down a side street this is the real thing...visit and enjoy and return to taste the food of another season later in the year. A chef with real skill offering food at amazing value: magic."

"We arrived at Ninie's house by chance and she really surprised us. The service is magnificent, we seem to be with family. If I didn't live so far away I would come here every week!
