I finally stopped by this restaurant after seeing it multiple times. The atmosphere was lovely. I only had a coffee and a sandwich, but they were both very delicious and reasonably priced. I chatted with the owner, who was very nice and friendly. I would definitely come back again. View all feedback.
What 167jol doesn't like about The Soul Kitchen:
The restaurant is charming, but it is too small with mostly sofas and only two tables available for dining. The full English breakfast is overpriced and comes in small portions - only 1 sausage, 1 bacon, a small portion of beans, 2 thin slices of tomato, a small amount of mushrooms, 1 egg, a thin slice of black pudding, and no toast or drink included for £4.50. This quaint café and takeaway place takes pride in the quality of their products. The breakfast options are fantastic, with a full English meal including toast and tea priced at £5.45. They offer a great variety of lunch options such as paninis, salads, sandwiches, and hot specials. During my visit, I tried the homemade corned beef hash with peas and red cabbage, which was only £2.60 and was a popular choice. I enjoyed the music memorabilia displayed on the walls. This place is definitely worth a visit, especially since they are open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Decided to pop in as had been past a few times really nice vibe and a relaxing place. Ordered the breakfast and was not disappointed really good and very enjoyable.
Great little place to chill . Nice clean and friendly . A good food and coffee joint would call again
I visit here quite often with friends and it is a great place to chat and chill. Food is always really good and very well priced and nobody ever rushes us. The owner is lovely and chatty and always makes us feel welcome. In short it is a fantastic little place.
