"I have only been here for tea and a game of chess). It was awesome. Their tea selection was huge, but what impressed me the most was the lady who works there who advised me on what tea I should pick. Usually when I'm presented with too many options, I freeze and don't know what to do, which doesn't make the experience that great. But this lady advised me so well. She recommended THE MOST DELICIOUS tea. I will forever have this tea as my favourite I suspect ;p... strongly). <br/ <br/ The interior here is also well considered. It is awesome that they have board games around for clients to play.<br/ <br/ We have not eaten here, so will keep this review unfinished until then."

"Had your Vegan Banana and Peanut butter shake 10/10, best shake I've ever had. Satisfying and not overly sweet like regular shakes. Also the portion was enough to share (had standard size). Service was also really good."

"We go years back with Cafe Paradiso, from birthday dinners to Breakfasts, to friends' reunions to random lunches during a weekday...<br/ <br/ It's an incredible venue high up in Gardens which has incredible city and sea views if you're seated outside ... almost like a secret garden of sorts.<br/ <br/ It's really cosy, unpretentious, and wholesome... as if you've been invited into someone's private home. <br/ <br/ For lunch, try their beef carpaccio starter with Mustard Parmesan dressing, capers, radish, ciabatta croutons and rocket! Incredible flavors!!! we still dream about it and find ourselves salivating each time"

"Patina came highly recommended by numerous people so decided it would be worth a try. I have high expectations when going out to eat and WOW did Patina impress!!!! We ordered fillet, rump, garlic and thyme sauce, fries and (on recommendation) sweet potato chips melt in your mouth, flavoursome steak, sauce was perfect not too overpowering and sweet potato chips were amazing. I thought nothing would beat the melt in your mouth steaks, but I was wrong I had the amarula creme brulee and I truly was in heaven. I'm a dessert eater and it was so rich I couldn't even finish it!! The wine was very good too. Friendly and accommodating hostess, lovely waitron, vibey and busy patrons made the whole dinner experience amazing and we can't wait to return. Even impressed me most about the whole experience was that Patina was recommended via a social media restaurant page and the manager had been following the news feed and came to greet and chat at the end of the meal. Small, attention to detail will make me return many a time and recommend them over and over again"

"LOVE the food here, very good.<br/>The atmosphere is lacking for me, as it is not a spacious restaurant. However the one in Hout Bay doesn't lack space."
