I met a friend for a very light lunch. We both just had appetizers; fried green tomatoes and chicken quesadillas. Both were very large portions; perfect for sharing. And both were yummy. The fried green tomatoes were served on grits with a little marinara sauce. The quesadillas came with quac and salsa on the side. The restaurant was not busy. What Odell Dickinson doesn't like about Cary Towne Kitchen:
I had high hopes for this restaurant, watching the reports of it opening in Cary. Even after a friend said the food was awful I still made a point to go check it out for myself. Expensive and not good. I don't recommend this place at all.
It was fine. Not much more to say, food is fine, ambiance is fine, service is fine. A solid average place to eat. Fine, a 3-star experience.
This was our first visit to this new restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. We were very impressed with the renovations that have been done since the new owners took over. The décor is very nice. We ordered a bowl of chili, side salad, chicken quesadilla and a Cajun salad. Our meals were delicious. The salads were crisp and fresh and the chicken tender with a light batter. The chili was the best I have tasted in a long time with a delicious tomato sauce and plenty of meat. The quesadilla was very good. Our server, Jessica, was efficient and pleasant. We will definitely dine there again.
I got the beef medallions with chimichurri, and it was cooked to perfection. The waiter was attentive and provided great service. We'll definitely be back!
We had a reservation and drove there from Fuquay and it was closed.
