Lupe used to be my favorite restaurant for the longest time. This goes back to houston in the mid 90's. The fact the it was the most expensive Tex Mex didn't matter. The food was awesome. That is not the case any longer. The beef fajitas don't have that incredible flavor and zing they used to have. Sure the food is still fresh and it is good, but it's no longer amazing.
