Not sure whether to call this a brasserie, corner bar, cafe or something else. Service somewhat hit or miss, but friendly. Lots of local wine specials by the glass. We both had the rillettes tartes to start out; sounded like an odd combination, but a...More View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Lion d'Or:
The food was OK, but would call it overpriced pub food. We had burgers, that were different from anything that we knew, but were not worth the price. The liquor prices were reasonable. Would classify the place as a pub/restaurant where you go for the drinks, not the food. There was also an extra charge on the bill for "allonge", which we did not understand. View all feedback.
My beautiful parents were returned from the hotel the very evening of their reservation and thus found themselves without accommodation on Saturday evening in the middle of the music weekend they couldn’t enjoy (month of August). The manager was insulting and extremely misleading. This establishment must be absolutely avoided.
Wet to open this kind of sales establishment, a huge doubt about the cleanliness of the sheets elsewhere we put our towels on the ferry. We pushed our wall so hard that the wall was black. Room another time can be in the 40s A closed establishment We didn't have a dozen It smells bad and the boss isn't nice at all.
I wanted to warmly thank the person I had on the phone and who hung without politeness, I will not hesitate to avoid a courtesy internship at your hotel.
The owner informs us at 7 p.m. that all rooms are taken despite a 3-week reservation in advance. Impossible to turn around, threatens to call the gendarmes, doesn't want to help, becomes insulting. !!! NB: was able to go to a nearby hotel, it seems that the Golden Lion is a custom made!!!! PS: I just read your answer, you always have false words and are in bad faith. You have no respect for customers! Sad and pitiful.
The hotel cancelled our reservation on the same day at 5:45 p.m. (and obviously three other people say so) because customers wanted to extend their stays. In the face of our dissatisfaction, we were simply advised to stay in another hotel (at a much higher and last-minute rate thanks to a cancellation), to call social samu or to go to the presbytery. No action was taken by the merchant to apologize for his gesture. In addition, the manager knows bike travelers in search of the cheapest room and obviously has a tooth against them. Thus, the rooms offered to 37 euros on the internet are reserved for workers, pilgrims and good sisters.
