"If you're not careful, you'll drive right by this place as it's on the side of the road and very unassuming other than the beautiful array of flowers in the summer and an old coal mining car! Any place with homemade corned beef sounds fun and this place didn't disappoint. We came in for lunch and had the aforementioned corned beef on rye with sauerkraut and Russian dressing. For a couple bucks extra, you can get a cheese fry but it is made with truffle oil and was okay. If it was piping hot it probably would have been outstanding. This is kind of a 4.5 star review because of it. They also serve breakfast and I'm fairly certain dinner. The bathrooms are super fun. The sinks are in a slab of old tree trunk that's been lacquered over and immaculately clean. The place also sells ice cream and little desserts. Real fun staff. The place is such a local hangout that are friends that live in cle elum. We happen to run into them on our way out. Plenty of parking on the side of the place in the gravel."

"We ordered pizza delivered from Village Pizza and got a something-Pollo pizza, chicken and artichoke hearts and feta cheese with a white sauce. It was not good. Really not good. Waste of $35. "My husband and I went through and stopped here for lunch. We chose this place according to their good reviews. Hubby had the Hüttenburger and I had the French Dip and Pommes and had to try their French toast so I ordered a disc. I must agree, food was really good, very tasty, especially her French toast and the pommes... super crispy. The menu has a limited selection. You serve all day the breakfast I like. They also have homemade cakes, pastries and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls ordered and it was delicious! Our waitress was really nice and very attentive. The place is somewhat outdated, but we will definitely stop here."

"Good food based on our orders. French dip, chicken strip and turkey sandwich in gluten-free bread. Wedge salad also delicious with a slightly different spin on the recipe. The restaurant is large and has a bar. Obviously a local favorite. The atmosphere is west. Our server was excellent. And all the employees we were interacting with seemed happy to be there. We too."

"We recently photographed Jordan Taylor's wedding at Suncadia, and all we can say is WHOA. This place starts off by grabbing you with the expansive views and stunning lodge, but going through the motions of an entire wedding day, we saw every tiny detail done PERFECTLY. The way this place, alongside Swiftwater Cellars, executed our couple's vision, was rather incredible to watch. Can't recommend this location and staff enough to host your wedding!"
