"We had no food in so decided to eat breakfast out. I’d heard about this place and so we thought we’d give it a try. We were given a warm welcome and ordered two small breakfasts but were curious about the pancakes. Because we lived in the USA we were keen to try them. The breakfasts were lovely and well cooked and the pancakes were good with plenty of maple syrup and crispy bacon just as they should be. Recommended."

"This is without doubt one of the best dog friendly tea rooms we have ever visited. If the service was brilliant for us the service to our dog Lily was even better Blanket water bowl and biscuit even before we ordered If there were more tea rooms like this the world would be a much happier place"

"Fantastic. can not recommend very enough. delicious and appetizing diners delivered hot and on time in our holiday home kitchen. the restaurant owners were friendly and helpful. scallops, monks, lamb, sea bass and other dishes all cooked for perfection. a wonderful tasty during the holiday. thank you."

"Love the place. a nice wee 25mins shoots from plymouth down for a cheeky brew and a nice piece of cake. beautiful personal, good mechanics before location if they need something and a beautiful Wee shop with a more than generous selection of biker goodies at a crisp price. I can't beat it."

"Loved this place loved! Not only is it beautiful, magical and full of fabulous plants, but they have really good for our gluten / dairy allergies! better than national trust in any case! they had a beautiful organic milk-free ice and several biscuits/coins that were both gluten-free and milk-free!"

"Beautiful little discovery to go looe in this week! we had the pleasure of getting a table when we were there. the owners are really friendly and knowledgeable about their menu that is always soothing. as a family of four, with 2 children under 5, one grown up that is gluten intolerance, we all became superior. the children chose a picnic plate, with a cheese sandwich. my partner had a creamtee and I had a gluten-free crab sandwich that came with coleslaw and craps. we were now in the opposite and it is still the best meal I had. tasty eating, thoughtful service, friendly place. would go again."

"I haven’t enjoyed an entire meal so much in years! All tasty, fresh and wonderfully cooked and all so fairly priced at I’ve never tasted such fresh scallops and a decent-sized portion, too! Puddings very original and delicious. Menu offers creative...options as well as plain eating. Cosy surroundings and a warm welcome, too. All so good that before leaving I booked again for next month and Christmas Eve!"

"We dined here when staying in Polperro for a few days for my niece’s wedding at Trenderway Farm. The whole evening in this restaurant was fantastic. They have the ambience just right with the music at the right levels. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and chatty with a great smile. The food was absolutely superb. We could not fault any of the three courses. They even had a lovely dessert wine to finish off our evening with. To cap it all, the chef came out at the end of the evening for a lovely chat. All in all, this restaurant has all the credentials I would expect from a large city restaurant. If you are ever in the area, you MUST visit."
