What alikat32 doesn't like about Kitchen:
Having read the reviews, we had expected more from The Kitchen. But both the service and the food were average at best. The food was all under seasoned and the duck was tough. The lady serving was very pleasant but had nobody helping her and seemed a bit overwhelmed. Admittedly, restaurants have only just reopened so hopefully, they will be able to cope better soon. The food and service at this restaurant are absolutely outstanding. If you are visiting Polperro, dining here is a must. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and he said it was the best cut he has had in years. I also highly recommend the duck, it was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening.
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is easily one of the best dining spots in the entire area! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the service is friendly and warm, and the food is cooked to perfection and delicious. Whether you are a local or a tourist, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. Thank you for a great evening!
I visited The Kitchen while staying at Cabilla Manor in Bodmin. It was definitely worth the trip over. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, and the table service was friendly and efficient. One of the best restaurants we have been to - highly recommend it and will definitely be booking again when we are in the area.
We stayed in Polperro recently. We decided to try The Kitchen. Can't speak high enough of this restaurant. Food was absolutely excellent. We are back in Polperro in September and will be eating there most nights. The chef, Debbi, is a lovely lady and the staff are lovely, very friendly. If you are going to a Polperro, you must try The Kitchen, you won't be disappointed.
5 x not enough for this lovely restaurant.. we been here this weekend with some friends and we had the best food , clean place and very friendly stuff, good chef and reasonable prices. Highly recommended
