What User doesn't like about Russell Tavern:
Main meals came out about 30 seconds after entrees so we sent them back. They obviously sat til we were right ready, steak was cold, tough and undercooked. Hinge falling off the kids area glass door and activities very poor. Didn't have half the kids dessert food, for a country tavern I expected better. read more.

"I made a booking for the deck months in advance and was told my date was free and all was well just to be told 2months later that my booking is now being cancelled because someone else has booked a presentation night so they need the space so my booking was cut, lack of communication with the staff has now put me in a stressful situation and now having to find a new venue for my event.They would have known my event was on the books months ago but chose to wait 2 months to tell me I can't have the date booked, feels like the other booking was only done recently and they demanded that date so I was booted because there was no way a booking that was made months ago would have only just been discovered now and clashing with a bigger event."

"Terrible meal, almost three quarters of the container was onion and when I complained I was told that it is normal. I have had plenty of Chinese meals and apparently haven't had a normal one in the past including from these people. Absolutely would avoid this place in future."

"Customer service was great, my low rating was due to my breakfast meal. I had the eggs on toast (scrambled) and you could obviously tell they were made in the microwave. I could see where the eggs had been moulded to the dish they were cooked in. They were over cooked and tasted rubbery. For the price you pay, I expected a little more effort."

"Generously giving two stars as the drinks were cold. Road tripping and this was the worst $32 scotch fillet we have had. Dried out and tough. Pepper sauce was lumpy and tasted like some chemical. Saving grace was that it all came out fast. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"
