What Clare L doesn't like about The Brisley Bell:
Had been looking forward to visiting the Brisley Bell for years and finally decided to book a celebration meal there. The setting is incredible the interior design is amazing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. But sadly that was all let down by what we were there for the food. We were expecting something pretty special but found it pretty bland and uninspiring. While staying in the area, we stopped in for a drink on a very hot day. Don't be deceived by the outward appearance from the roadside. Stop and go inside, it is an amazing little pub that opens up at the back to a beautiful outside area.
First visit, for birthday lunch. Beautiful setting. Good menu choices, including gf. Food was lovely, and great friendly service, but wine prices a little high. 100% recommend to friends.
This pub has got a great vibe and super friendly staff. We also got chatting to the owners one evening during our stay and they couldn't have been more hospitable. The food is fantastic and there's evidently a lot of work, planning and preparation that goes into each dish. We stayed for three nights and working in the industry I can see how much effort and thought goes into this place.
The food was amazing (delicious and so tasty), but I especially liked the gardens, the gardens are incredible, they must put a huge amount of effort in. The staff were polite and attentive, even though they were evidently busy. We'll definitely come again. Highly recommend.
First time at The Brisley Bell, first impressions from the outside it looks a real gem, we decided to go for Sunday Lunch, greeted with a warm smile, all staff were very attentive, good selection of ales and wine plus the menu, the quality of the food is amazing, tasty and full of flavour. The garden is lovely to walk around and just chill out with a drink or have your food, there is an under cover area to be had if you wish. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
