What Stephane Lavallee doesn't like about Spritz:
The lounge on the 2nd floor with its velvet banquettes is great for having drinks. Very cozy and trendy atmosphere. Plus they definitely have a nice selection of cocktails. I have a lot of difficulty, though, with the price of their meals... an individual pizza or pasta, all between $30 and $40, is outrageous. Not sure why there are bad reviews for this restaurant. Went for lunch and had the table d'hôte with a few cocktails. We sat outside on the patio, and our server was curteous, pleasant and efficient. Once ordered, the food came quickly and tasted outstanding. We had the salmon tartar and the beef tartar with the sweet potato soup. 5/5 on everything and the price was very reasonable. The cocktails were tasty and mixed to perfection. They weren't cheap, but consistent with the price point of most higher end restaurants. The restaurant itself was magnificent, clean and one of the nicest we've ever been to. The bathrooms (all individual) were clean and in excellent order. All in all a great spot; we will definitely be back!
