What User likes about The Rose Crown:
if they like live music in contrast to the normal offered by karaoke or disco, then this is the place to go to stortford. next to the entertainment at the weekend, this pub also offers outside of music events the whole year, especially vernfest, which is held over the Mai bank holidays. look at it, but it is warned, it becomes loud and busy as the pub is small. not to offer food, but there are many food shops nearby. it's not the kind of pub I would normally go to. a little bit of a sawdust. but they often have a band, so I go. it's a bit cramped to dance, but if it's busy, the atmosphere is ok and drinks are cheap. it's all a little tired look, especially the toilets, but go when there's a decent band on!
