We had a lovely meal here on Thursday while staying at Sand le Mere. I booked because I was unsure how busy it would be. A small choice which I like, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient. Car park at the rear. Delicious. View all feedback.
What Kirsten H doesn't like about Roos Arms:
First time eating and was sadly disappointed. Had the chicken saag curry and as nice as the naan bread was, the curry itself was very bland and the rice was over done very sticky. My partner had the ham which he said was nice but a rather small portion for the price and compared to other places nearby. View all feedback.
This countryside pub with rooms for hire is truly charming. The bar is excellent and we enjoyed sitting outside as well. It's definitely worth a visit. Although we didn't eat this time, we will definitely be back to try the dishes made with fresh, local ingredients by the talented chef.
This charming pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is wonderful!
The Roos Arms is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lager and cider, including 2 hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The cask ale was excellent when I called in. There is a nice bar and room next to it with a pool table. Up some steps at the front, there is another room mainly for meals, which are served Thursday to Sunday. There is covered outside seating and a beer garden. A nice welcoming pub, also dog friendly.
Lovely food, not huge potions but ideal size for both children and adults. Drinks were expensive and no draft drinks, lemonade was out of a bottle. Dogs allowed
