Recommended by my host as the best place to eat. Always busy with locals and visitors. Affordable, high-quality food. Take out only, order, quick wait, eat by shaded picnic table. Ample parking. Calabacita burrito special means super hot chillies FYI. I loved their vegetable taco, no cheese, add guacamole. Delish. Must must have their fresh made watermelon juice. So yum! Went back again. Food is pretty good, we order carry-out quite often 2-3x's a week... I hate to complain but more often our orders are a complete mess twice now the salsa lids have come off and end up all over the inside of the bag, several times if we have a chilaquiles or chilie cheese fries they too are all over the other orders. Best tacos. Hands down. Call ahead ..saves a lot of time. I got them on speed dial.
1 Pint of pasole and 2 tamales $17.... Took 20 minutes to get something pre-made after ordering. Arrived with NOONE in line.

The food is absolutely delicious, great customer service, it's outdoor sitting, the weather was excellent. We enjoy stopping here to eat. We drive through Espanola NM at least once a year....this is where we enjoy lunch!
A little slow due to the number of people, but worth the wait! The food is very delicious :
