"Ordered 2 salads and 2 entrees. When I called to tell them one of the salads was missing ingredients they called me back three times to ask questions then told me there were not replacing the salad. A $100 meal to go that we added a 15% tip to. Silly to make a customer unhappy over the cost of a salad!! "The past reviews on here about Houser's crack me up. If you came to this place looking for a Michelin star meal, you're a true cidiot on Fire Island. For those of us that grew up across the bay frequenting these haunts, we know the drill. This is a bar bar. A seafarers bar. A dingy place to slam Zippys, laugh with friends, play pool, hang out on the sand, and wait in lines for bathrooms. If you want to eat, there are options here. The lobster dinner is a go to, best price point for it in all of OB. Apps are decent enough. But if you're trying to have a sit down with friends, do your research and go somewhere else. If you're looking to have a rip-roaring late night fun time, you've found the right place. To those that gave this place one star, my suggestions is that Housers isn't the problem... your expectations are. I bet you complain about swinging the lights at the albatross too lol ."
