10/28/2023 65th Birthday Dinner Celebration for group of 22 diners plus an infant and a toddler. Katy snd Kent were our servers. I recommend The Blue Winged Olive dish. EVERYTHING was 5 STARS! THANK YOU! Healthy sized delicious portions, with substitutions allowed.... great for sharing; makes per person price attractive.... you will not be disappointed.

Cajun? NO! Shrimp and Grits was swimming in gravy; Crawfish etouffe was not Cajun in flavors loaded with onions; Red beans and rice also too much gravy. Best part of the meal was salad and the view. Server was inattentive, disappeared to the kitchen a lot. Please take dishes away when done eating, instead of waiting till after customer has paid and left the table. Won't be making the 1 hour drive again. View all feedback.
This place is a hidden gem on caney fork river. Recommend giving it a try! Nick is a very nice and respectful waiter :
This has been a favorite of ours for years. The food is awesome. Some places in the restaurant are a bit too dark to even see what you are eating. If they would fix the lighting it would be perfect. Make sure you come early. The wait can get rather long!
This place is a quintessential lake house restaurant. The servers were beyond friendly and polite, and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were surprised they were able to accommodate us (large group) but we were able to squeeze in. The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and accented by the cutest cats that were running around outside. The food deserves another review in itself! It was incredible. I highly recommend stopping by to this hidden gem
This is one of those restaurants that refuses to accept reservations, thereby wasting their customer's precious time. We came from far out of town on vacation and wanted to eat here, but weren't allowed to plan ahead and economize our time, so had to play by the restaurant's rules. Upon arrival, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, and after being seated, it was another 60 minutes before we were served. The food was OK, but certainly not worth a 90 minute wait. This is a restaurant that prioritizes their own needs ahead of their customers. Not recommended and we will not return. Please, please consider allocating a portion of your seating for reservations so that people who want to plan ahead can do so.
Out of the way but so worth the drive! One of our favorites never a disappointment!
