We're from KC so good BBQ in this area is hard to find. Don't mean to be snooty, it is what it is.Fat Daddy's is good. My wife finally found good burnt ends. They're hard to find around here. I had catfish. Should have chosen the chicken. Onion rings were great.Definitely will be back. View all feedback.
What Jen Norton doesn't like about Fat Daddy’s Bbq:
Ordered from door dash. Not what I expected. Highly disappointed. Not fresh at all. The brisket and burnt ends and sausage wasn't even smoked. We didn't even get BBQ sauce. We ordered BBQ but got no sauce. Oh it matters greatly bc it covers of the horrible taste of this stale old taste and it's needed to make it edible. Not recommend. Famous Dave's is actually consistent. This was some auto sham meat and don't waste... View all feedback.
We had an amazing experience at Fat Daddy’s! It has a homey cafe feel with great food and the friendliest staff. The fish was SO yummy and so were the variety sides — the hush puppies were some of our favorites! One thing I would say is if you’re debating between curly or straight fries, go with straight. They were so crispy and delicious!!I would recommend Fat Daddy’s to anyone without hesitation!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly
We stopped in while out of town On a short little get away. Is best part of the trip hands down. Only bad thing I can say Is that the food is so good Self control goes out the window. I had the 2 meat special Burnt ends and pulled pork. If you are on the fence it is well worth the stop. Our waitress was extremely friendly And even with a busy Dining room she was still able to keep our drinks full and make sure we were doing OK
Went there for lunch on Valentine's Day and the food was great. Had the onion string appetizer and wife had fried mushrooms. I ordered the 3 meat plate with smoked beans and corn and it was everything I could ask for in BBQ: Brisket, burnt ends, and smoked sausage. The sausage might have been my favorite as they make their own and it had good flavor texture. Brisket had a nice smoke ring and burnt ends were flavorful and chewy.Kari served us and she was very knowledgable and friendly. Even talked me into a desert she called sawdust.Yeah, it is moderate expensive but its good BBQ, the sides are all specialties, and served on plates with silverware. If you want to save money you can eat a cheeseburger out of a sack at Sonic just down the road. We'll be back!
The restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly! They could use a larger location. There is a small outside area also. The food was excellent! We had four people so we had brisket, sausage, chicken and the sides. All of out dishes were great and large portions. The smoked beans I must say were the best I've ever had.
