The Chicken Tenders was over-cooked and too much breading on them but the Clam Chowder was very good. They were short staffed and we had a group of people so service was a little slow but the servers were great. All and all it is a nice place. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Taryn Kennedy doesn't like about Allegheny Grille:
I was not expecting a Michelin star experience, I was just looking for reasonable food after traveling all day. The hostess refused to sit me outside which was one of the reasons I decided to try the location. Apparently one needs a partner, not ones eyes to enjoy the ambience.I was told I could only sit in the lounge as a single diner. I then was entirely ignored for 45 minutes and had to go look for service. I woul... View all feedback.
This restaurant is very cozy and an especially nice place to go in the fall to enjoy the foliage. The food and service were great. It feels like a place from a Hallmark movie. Good menu (I got the chicken and biscuits... yummy! at good prices. Friendly host and servers, with a really nice view of the river.
Didn't receive our drinks until 25 mins after ordering. Apps arrived around 50 minutes after ordering. Manger said it was homecoming and their short in the kitchen. We are 1hr and 15mins and still waiting on our entree. I asked if our waitress was new and she wasn't. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
First of all the building is very nice with an awesome view but unfortunately that was the best part of our visit. The service was underpar. The burgers were cooked as requested with the exception of one that was requested well done and it was medium. The French dip definitely did not meet expectations. (Picture included) For $23, chicken bruchetta you are served two chicken tenderloins with cheese and tomatoes and some glaze. The chicken was over cooked and wasn't worth the price. The appetizers were actually a hit. Bruchetta was very tasty, The Hog chips were really good as were the the pepperoni balls. So my suggestion is go for the atmosphere and the appetizers and nothing else. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
Had a birthday dinner reservation here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is beautiful, peaceful and clean! Love the big windows, the deck and view. Our server was attentive and fun. Pleased with the food, but it was nothing out of this world. The French fries have tasty seasoning! They have a good amount of beer and wine options. Will definitely be back.
