We have enjoyed dinner at the River Room several times and yesterday we had lunch for the first time.

Cloth napkins & silverware yet plastic drinking cups and supermarket McCormick's salt and pepper grinders - seems like they cannot decide if they are casual

"This is a great restaurant. There was a waiting time at 5:00, but only 15 minutes. Service, drinks food was excellent. I had Shrimp and Grits, Husband had Steak. Both were cooked for perfection. Decor is great."

"When I was there for my sister's birthday, we had a great time here. The food was really good and the people who came here seem really easy to go and love fun. The burger was definitely boiled medium and it was delicious. All four meals were exquisite. I then ordered the Peach Cobbler for Dessert generous portion and it was really good. The food was great, a wonderful atmosphere and cheap. The owners were also very pleasant and friendly, which is of course really nice and made the experience much more charming. Definitely a place I would go for a solid experience with friends and family."
