Pita Kitchen Arrowhead - Glendale

2 stars for this Pita Kitchen because I'm comparing it to *another restaurant* that i meant to order from. *other Mediterranean restaurant* has more flavor, larger meat portions, fresh crispy veggies, and they give you a heaping meal! They set the bar forme. I ordered from this Pita Kitchen on accident and per their reply below, I guess they want to know what I ordered. I got agyro and it was not great. It was edible and satisfied my hunger...but not great. Meat portion was almost nonexistent eventhough the description on the menu says it contains beef and lamb. It had a lot of tomatoes that were squishy so it reallydidn't seem fresh. I feel like I ate subway which is not what I was going for.

This restaurant is in a really nice, quiet location and I had a fantastic meal there. I tried a few dishes and they were all delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and there were plenty of options to choose from. Overall, the food was delicious. I couldn't ask for anything more.

We ordered entrees that were supposed to come with two sides each, but we were charged extra for some of them. The food was tasty, but the prices are higher compared to other similar restaurants. The portion size of the steak shawarma was small for the price.

Do not order from this restaurant online! This is the third time we have had major issues, but this time was the worst. We ordered gluten-free pitas and when my husband picked them up, they assured him the order was correct. However, upon inspection, I could tell the pitas were not gluten-free. When I called to inquire, the employee admitted they were not gluten-free and had mistakenly charged us for the gluten-free option. I asked for a refund but was denied. When I requested to speak to a manager or owner, the employee refused to provide any contact information. They did not inform customers that they did not have gluten-free pitas and charged us extra for them. This lack of transparency put my health at risk and their response was very disappointing. They promised to call me back but never did. It is unacceptable to deceive customers and charge them for items that they do not have.

This restaurant has declined in quality. I hadn't visited in a while and was disappointed. The place had a strange and unpleasant odor, which immediately turned me off. Additionally, their prices have significantly increased. If you order a combo meal, you have to pay extra for a drink. They didn't give me a number for my order and kept bringing me the wrong items. Eventually, they got it right, but I was shocked to see a dead insect on the floor. The food was mediocre, and I left feeling more hungry than when I arrived.
