"Fabulous food and fantastic team. I was circumspect as we walked past but so pleased we went in. The waitresses were all extremely helpful as we made our choice. For two they recommended 3 tapas and one main, but we couldn’t resist an extra dish, all delicious . The highlights were the octopus and the tuna which just melted, and then an indulgent ice cream cake desert. Best meal we had throughout the week"

"Because it's a very recent restaurant and because I had tried sushi made by the same sushiman, my expectations where high. However, and even though the staff is friendly, the food is just okay. The soup was very weird and to me it did not tasted very well. Sushi was also okay, I felt the sashimi too cold and for a second it crossed my mind it was because it was frozen, but I am not sure of that! Prices are really good and the lunch menu is interesting. However, it's not sushi that I would classify as VERY GOOD. Decor is very empty, and I felt I was in a very cold place with no decor or effort put into it. I will come back when I am desperate to eat sushi but not willing to spend much."

"We were spoilt for choice in Tomar with places to eat but we loved the atmosphere of this little restaurant. The waitress was great and she spoke good English which was a relief so we could ask for a salad along with steak and chips. Great well priced house wine. A lovely end to an excellent day!"

"We live in Tomar. We’ve been about a dozen times and there is just one server who is pretty rude. I don’t know if it’s his “shtick” but it needs to go. Last time, we were a party of 6. We didn’t get our starters yet and he wanted to know what we wanted for our main courses. We told him we need more time and he looked at us in disgust and said “no”. Then he said “five minutes”. The week before, we came in for a beer and my friend said hello to him, and that we needed a table and he simply said “NO”. We went straight to the bar, ordered beers and sat down at a table in the front.… if I didn’t know any better, we would have left! The manager really needs to talk to him. He makes me afraid to go there with visitors."
