Had their oha soup, could be better. But their jollof rice is the star. Quantity could be better. Cos every meal ends up being about $20. But clean place. Ordered rice on Uber eats, but the quantity was disappointing View all feedback.
What Lisa X doesn't like about Jodeem African Cuisine:
Went on sunday 6/16 the fair skin lady with the short haircut took more than 15-20 minutes to package jellof rice-plaintain- customers came and went aft i had been waiting for over 20 min and one stick of suya- and put 2 tablespoons of rice in the container and 4piecs of fat and bone for the goat meat requested?????.Another server older woman with braids- was rude- when asking for an item. Be conscious of how u treat... View all feedback.
Love this place. I’m never disappointed. The food is amazing, you will not regret it!
The only reason this restaurant did not receive five stars is because I feel the food is overly spicy and hot … very flavorful, but just too damn hot… i’ve heard many customers complain about the food. Being too spicy but they just ignore it. I wish they offered pepper sauce on the side instead as an option because this is not the type of food you could feed to your kids…. if it wasn’t for this problem, I would eat there more often… so far I’ve ordered the cassava leaf and curry goat. They give very nice portions, and the prices are fairly decent
Ordered cassava leaf and suya beef and the food was Amazing!
I like the taste of the food. I am not from Africa. I will keep spending my money there for good food.
If I start to write about my experience here yesterday, being July 11th 2024, this page will not be enough. The OWNER of this restaurant apparently knows NOTHING about the relationship between a CUSTOMER a POTENTIAL customer. He believes that because you are yet to patronize him, you are NOT a customer. I wish I could rate this sore a MINUS ZERO( 0) due to lack of customer service/relations. He needs some SERIOUS training on that especially for him to know that it is NOT only FOOD he is selling. He became verbally aggressive towards me the instant I dropped the American accent picked up my Nigerian accent he caught on that I am from his tribe country where they're very aggressive with igbo women. I could go on and on. However, it is not going to succeed in painting the correct picture of the horror of this experience with the owner of the store/restaurant who DEFINITELY needs to do better ASAP. Really sad.
