India Palace - Greensboro

A locally owned and operated restaurant, it has an interesting quaint charm. Centrally located near downtown and the campus, parking is never a problem. There is ample room behind the restaurant. If you arrive late? No problem! I've been to the lunch buffet numerous times. Each and every time prior to closing the buffet, I've been asked if there is any specific item that I'd like to have more of. They gladly prepare it and serve it to me hot. The wait staff is always friendly and eager to help. The food, ah the food! Classic Indian favorites are always included on the lunch buffet.

This is a great place to eat. My wife and I have ate at India Palace twice. The owners were very friendly. The second time we went they said Nice to see you again. The food is great and the wait staff are very helpful. If you are unsure about what to get they will help you find something you will like. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

I 've just joined this site. What a wonderful idea! I 've eaten at India Palace several times, always at lunch. I hesitated to try Indian food at first. The buffet made up my mind. It not only allows the patron to see the food before tasting it but the owners are very helpful in answering questions about the menu/dishes. I sampled several dishes by the teaspoon at first. It helps to do this prior to a visit for dinner. I have two very picky 17 yr. old teens. They actually enjoyed eye surfing the foods before tasting them. This restaurant also gives you a lunch punch card . Just another reason to come back! We found the food wonderfully authentic and very tasty! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoy Indian beer. The owners are very friendly and helpful. An added plus is the location. After lunch the girls and I can stroll the area and shop. I now travel from Asheboro to Greensboro looking forward to lunch at India Palace.
