"Our lunch in cafe 3692 was one of the best meals I had in the Swiss. it is about fifteen minutes to walk from the main bar up, but the reward is a wonderful location with an amazing view, and rest and rest! the cafe...es itself is very stylish in Swiss style, and there is a choice of eating inside or outside. the food itself was excellent. the salat was not only a simple salad of interesting ingredients and wonderful taste. the main course, a beef-casrole, was also good together with beautiful vegetables and again really nice."

"As I was the first person to write a TA review of this wonderful bar five years ago, I feel compelled, five years later, to pen an update. I'm happy to say it's even better than I remembered and, since the first time, they now serve panini (not that it could be described as a food bar, thank God). No, it's a proper bar with a good outside space at the back where the bar staff are wonderful and the owner, Alex, is often around to engage with drinkers. We were there during the street festival - every Wednesday in July/August - and despite the rain, Avocado was rocking with a live band, a big crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. It's difficult with bars to put your finger on why exactly they're better than others in the area, but whatever their secret is, they have it. Also there's a good balance between local regulars and visitors - and everyone is given a warm welcome."

"Wer mal Lust hat eine Pizza zu essen in Grindelwald - dem empfehle ich dieses Lokal.- Sehr klein - auch die Sommerterasse ist sehr klein :-)- Nichtraucherlokal auch auf der Terasse- Sehr freundliche - nicht allzu schnelle Bedienung - aber die Freundlichkeit macht alles wett.- Leider ist keine Reservierung möglich.- Pizzas werden auf dem Kuchenblech gemacht und sind in 3 verschiedenen Grössen erhältlich.- Es ist möglich eine mittlere Pizza unterschiedlich zu belegen - für alle die einen normalen Hunger verspüren und doch unterschiedliche Gelüste (pizzamässig) verspüren.- Essen eher im oberen Bereich für eine Pizzeria - aber es lohnt sich"

"Einfach hervorragend, von A-Z. Man fühlt sich willkommen von der ersten Minute an. Die Alpstube weiss bereits als Lokal zu begeistern, ist architektonisch ein Highlight, da stimmt einfach alles. Die Bedienung ist immer persönlich und sehr freundlich. Essen und Wein ein Traum. Ich genoss das Hirsch-entrecôte, der Teller ein Kunstwerk, Gaumen und Zunge jubeln. Wir freuen uns schon heute auf das nächste Mal, sicher schon bald.Besten Dank."

"This was one of our favorite restaurants during our stay in Switzerland. We had many great Fondue meals and great cheese and bread. However, after a while, we really missed vegetables! Such a relief to find this restaurant! Yummy food! Very professional staff. Comfortable setting."
