This place looks like it?s best days are behind it. I think one of the owners was in she just looked tired of the whole thing. It really really seems like the people here would rather be anywhere else. The front area is a cozy front with 1-2 tables and about a dozen chairs for the tables and for waiting. The beef is tender and flavorful. The bread is fresh and a combination of a crunchy crust with a wonderfully chewy core.Get it with their homemade Poblano cheese sauce and everything else on it, you can't go wrong!For side dishes, the onion rings are my favorite. "I did not really eat Korean food during my 2 weeks in Japan, so I was craving Korean food. I've known of the bb.q Chicken chain for a while now, and I saw they had a branch in Alhambra. I cannot eat a ton of fried chicken on my own, but I saw that this restaurant had other dishes as well. I decided to come here and give bb.q Chicken a try.They had a free soda with Yelp check in. My wife got a diet coke, and I ordered water. The restaurant gives complimentary pickled radishes. The staff are very nice and friendly.My wife ordered the tteokbokki, whereas I got the kimchi fried rice. I was torn between the fried rice and the bulgogi poutine, but I also knew I wanted rice, so I got the kimchi fried rice. My wife and I shared our dishes. The tteokbokki was good, sweet and spicy. The rice cakes were a nice texture. The kimchi fried rice was also solid, but a bit spicy for me.Given how close it is to me, I will definitely come back in the future to try their fried chicken."
