"So back again after a few months enforced absence to due to the lockdown, however I did still manage to get my regular society fix from the wonderful takeaway food and beer they served, and is carrying on even now the bar is back open."

"We had been out and about around St Helens and Widnes looking for a house and on the way back we spotted the cake pod sign and devided to give it a go. Very nice lady behind the counter and the customers already in the cafe who I presumed to be local, very kindly offered to swap tables with us so we could all sit down. How nice. Anyhow it was quite busy so we had a little wait for service but the food was really nice and the hot chocolate with marshmallows was excellent. Lots of people in and out with cake and obviously regular clientele so that says a lot about it. Well worth a little visit if you're passing."

"This place is absolutely lovely. Soooo clean and lovely friendly staff. The food is great and reasonably priced, you would have to go a long way to get a better coffee shop. Wish this was closer to my home in Kent. Highly recommend."

"Marked atmosphere down because when we first visited there was a dog in the restaurant that just wouldn't stop barking, this spoilt our dining out evening. It was hard to be heard when talking to each other over the barking. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
