"Well what a lovely stay we had, checked into the White Horse after visiting York, we were given the warmest welcome by John and Dawn. After we were settled into our lovely room Rose room) which was really comfortable and cosy, especially the super...king bed, we wondered down to the bar and restaurant for an evening meal. Again we were greeted by the friendly hosts and even the regulars made us feel welcome. Food was not a disappointment either yummy). Amazing nights sleep followed and then a great breakfast. Thanks again John and Dawn could not fault a thing."

"Today i have ordered an afternoon tea takeaway for the 21st November from Betty’s Northallerton. I rang and received a pleasant greeting. My order was taken and repeated back to me as we had to change the sandwich order, due to a fish and seafood allergy. The person was polite, courteous and professional. I would recommend this service to anyone who is wanting an afternoon tea, and have not got the time to visit the tearoom."
