"When booking asked about coeliac safe GF food. Not good responses. Told duck fat fries great for coeliac (but actually not in dedicated fryer when questioned further), told lots of options for coeliacs but there wasn’t when we dug into them. Terrible service. Definitely do not recommend."

"We wanted a change from the normal pub food around Hanmer Springs. Tried Petra and was not disappointed. Son and wife ordered the falafel souvlaki which was delicious and generous. I had the chicken iskender. Chicken was tender and was really tasty. Rice was cooked beautifully too. Daughter wasn't that hungry and just had some of the mixed basket which was probably the only downside as it seemed to be just the run of the mill deep fried nibbles you can get anywhere. That aside I would highly recommend Petra's."

"Went in for quiz night, great fun!! Awesome quiz host too!! Food was standard pub grub. We did struggle to find a table as all were reserved for quiz but we got one just before our food arrived"

"A great find Had a family get together with Taskers and had a lovely evening meal then a breakfast the following day It was so good we had to go back for another breakfast today. Great food Wonderful staff and lovely setting"
