"Had a great and huge slice of Italian sausage that was a quarter of a pizza, for only 4 dollars. The area is on the west Hartford, Hartford line so it was a very friendly and welcoming place for me, everyone said hello and everyone was enjoying huge slices. Very busy, lots of take out and lots of staffing to make so many pizzas. The sauce and cheese was fresh and had the signature CT pizza taste. I will have this on my list to visit any time I am around that area, glad my friend had shown me the place, thank you very much for the recommendation Ricky"

"I wouldn't say it's the best fried chicken I've ever had, but it was quite tasty and satisfying. The place is a dive, but the service was good. A one man show; an impressive and efficient guy who was attentive and quick. We ordered the 8 piece with a large fry. The chicken is small and tender (I hate chicken on steroids) fried nicely and crispy, but still moist. The flavor was very mild and it could probably be spiced a tad more, but hey, it's worked for them so who am I? The fries were underwhelming. Frozen matchstick fries, but fried well and crispy. Everything was fried perfectly; not greasy or heavy at all. An overall good experience. We'll go back. You should try it!"

"When Banh Meee started with their food truck, I was skeptical. Authentic Vietnamese food made from a truck? I have had their Viet slaw, short ribs, and Pho Bo from their food truck and every thing was amazing! So when they opened their storefront in Hartford, I was super excited to try it. Off-street parking is pretty plentiful, as I've been down there twice in the last few weeks during lunchtime. I had Pho 2-in-1, eggrolls, Bun Rieu, Banh Mi Bo, Viet Iced Tea and their passionfruit tea. Everything I've had from them is either just as good as my Vietnamese mother's cooking, or better (I never thought that was possible)! Also, bun rieu is not readily available from Vietnamese food plaecs in CT, and this was amazing! The crab, quail eggs, tofu, and the fixins were spot on. SO GOOD!"
