What Ptownbilly doesn't like about Capeside Kitchen:
Food was mediocre. One of us asked for OJ, and instead of asking which size, brought an enormous glass for $4. My hash omlet was like shredded cardboard. Waitress asked what side I wanted I assumed this was included in $12 price of omlet) but she added $2 bringing price to $14. Total for two mediocre meals was $36. read more.

Just stopped in for breakfast. Service was great and food was excellent. Zucchini Fritter Egg Benedict was very tasty. Omelets were generous and full of flavor....

"Wonderful restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner who was so warm and friendly! Food is delicious. I had the jerk chicken wrap with lettuce , tomatoes and a delicious pineapple salsa!! Well done! My wife had the fish and chips. Both were fresh.. the fish and fries were crispy and the Cole slaw was creamy and well balanced. We Overheard the people at next table say that the burgers they had were the best ever! Great service and all the staff was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Five star plus! Highly recommend the Island Cafe and Grill. We’ll definitely be back!!"

"We are OH disciples and consider it the best overall food experience in the mid-cape area. One of last night’s entrees missed the usual mark by wide margin. It was certainly edible but far from the quality in taste to which we have been accustomed to for many years. We offered tasteful comments to our server after the fact and did not expect or request any sort of concession. Additionally, we are wine people and frankly, although their list has some tasty options, it’s very weak by comparison to other local restaurants and when considering the general wine market today. There are too many solid and reasonably priced wines on the market today to have such a limited wine list. I suggest their wine buyer needs more perspective. I want to enthusiastically applaud Morgan, one of our favorite people at the OH. Morgan is not a server but rather a facilitator of sorts. Morgan always has a positive attitude and understands better than most what diners seek and need to hear. Thank you, Morgan!"
