Vida Mexicana Hingham Ma

We've been here for some time and usually love it. We recommended everyone and are here on frequent meetings with friends and only appointments. Later it went downhill. Service is terrible, except for some selected people who have worked there for years. Tonight we went to a date that was finally the last straw to leave a review. We received our appetizer and our duck less than 5 minutes later. All without our drinks, even a water. After we sit there with our duck 15 minutes in front of us, our waiter comes to us with only one of our drinks and says they are out of the stuff to drink the other. 30 minutes after us? ve sat there?.without menu, we just said to make a margarita like the others? it came in a Martini glass?. then they tried us for the original drink we ordered and not. Don't you think we're here soon?

The prices are high and the food was quite terrible. The soft taco dishes were hard and stale, the pulled chicken was chewing. The churros were boiled, raw dough in the middle without cripples on the outside. The place looks funny and I had high hopes, but the food was bad enough to meet this restaurant from our list.

We had a great time here! We spent about 3-4 hours at the bar that is suspended. Margaritas were excellent and met the place on the 98-degree day. Chips and salsa as soon as we sat at the bar were delicious. Bartender was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was quiet and had good music. We order pork carnitas and burritos. Everything was great and the rice was top notch. Good selection of Tequila too! Come back!

If I were rated only on the food, I would give it four statistics easily. but I can't ignore how slow the service was. I don't think it was the fault of the waiting staff. they do their best. they only have to be under servants. when they go, have some geduld and remember, we tap on their effort, not their speed! oh, and if they like spicy, the diablo margarita is awesome, but be careful)

I have been going to Vida Mexicana for a couple of years now, and it?s always a great experience! The portions are generous and the food is delicious. They have so many great margaritas to choose from, as well as other types of cocktails. The ambiance is nice and festive, and every server we?ve had has been excellent. Would definitely recommend!
