We had chicken wings and spare ribs. What can I say, the food blew us away. The portions were big enough to fill the stomach. The quality was just awesome. The staff was fast and friendly, the restaurant is simply decorated, but hey, a wild west saloon did not have the Mona Lisa either. A little minus, they do not serve beer, just wine, but it works fine with food from the wild, wild west.
This has gone soooooo downhill it's not even funny. I used to eat here quite a bit. I was there the second night they opened and ate here regularly for about 2 months or so. Right now their only saving grace is their new Manager Carlos. Because the food has gotten so bad. It was really really good. Proper tasty burgers and lots of options of wings. Their new insane sauce is horrendous. The last one would blow your head off but it was **** tasty. I was told by an Italian waitress that the previous boss Frankie left and that explains a lot. Carlos is fabulous but whoever is running the kitchen needs to learn his job. Maybe he is new too. Because the burgers have changed from day to night. The amazing flavour has left. Burnt on the outside and raw in the middle . Simply put avoid at all costs.
During a recent trip to Cork I was looking for some lunch. I saw the sign on Wild West Wings that said Gourmet American Food so I decided why not. I was interested to see what was considered American food in Ireland. I ordered a burger and fries and I was very pleased. I did not try the wings but they also looked good. I found it interesting that burgers and wings are gourmet American food in Ireland. Overall, this is a great place for both and also a great place for a quick lunch.
Great place in the heart of the city. Had one of their burgers which was cooked perfectly and had great flavour. Others with me had chicken wraps which they have raved about and of course the wings themselves were great. I think the portions were great value for money and I was stuffed after my meal. The staff are friendly and helpful with picking out what you want.
Perfect is the only way to describe this place. Tried tonight for the first time with a few friends. Tried a bit of everything as its only open 2 weeks and couldn't make my mind up. Wings were out of this world delicious, mama cass were my favourite, can't wait to try them again. Also had the rack of rips, fall of the bone tender, my partner had the sticky bbq chicken which was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. A friend at the table got the T-bone steak, she sucked the bones clean it was so good. I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. Great location in the city, fantastic atmosphere, with incredibly friendly staff, I also had an opportunity to talk to Frankie, the man in charge, awesome guy, very hands on with the operation of the restaurant which I love to see. I'm very excited that this place has opened and is here to stay.
