Sheraton Dfw Airport - Irving

Literally, use ANY hotel but this one. We were supposed to have a meeting at this dump and they had NO A/C in June so we had to scramble to move all of our employees. THEN, I didn 't get the invoice for the room we had our meeting in until well over 1.5 months AFTER the meeting (after submitting my expense report based on the estimate they provided). THEN, they added 25% 'service charge ' to a ROOM RENTAL ONLY. They literally did NOTHING but put out a water jug and some cups for $125. Ridiculous....and they never apologized for the huge inconvenience of the lack of AC and didn 't comp me anything for having to rebook my entire team to another hotel. RUN.....do NOT have a meeting at this dump.....

Overall, a very pleasant stay with great comfort and amenities. Front desk very friendly and helpful. I arrived four hours early and they were able to get me checked in early. My stay came with club access, free breakfast buffet, and a $25 credit for food at their onsite restaurant Whiskey Tango.The room itself was standard but the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I slept like a baby from 930pm-730am! Wow! What I liked the most about the room was the large showerhead and robe. Before going to bed, I treated myself to a warm bath and comfortable robe lay down while watching a movie.Their TV includes streaming options that you can log into if you have a subscription, but that's not really needed as there is local TV and Showtime to watch.I got a nice afternoon workout in the fitness center. It was such a great amenity! Treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals for cardio, a few select weight machines, pulley system, free weights, yoga mats, and foam rollers! It took me about five minutes to decide what workout I wanted to do with all of those options!After my workout, I took a dip in the pool. It's a little on the small side but considering this is a hotel aimed at business persons and conventions, I doubt they needed to go much bigger. The pool was clean with clear water, and towels accessible right before you walk in.So why the four stars? I wish I could give them four and a half because my last point is only a small fraction of my experience. The buffet breakfast, while plentiful in options was cold. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pineapple juice, cereal, and an apple. The eggs and potatoes, I took one bite of and couldn't finish. They were cold and hard. Bacon was good, and so was the biscuits and gravy but both were cold. I was able to get through those before settling on cereal and an apple.Overall, would I go back? Yes. Would I try the breakfast again? Maybe if I get up at 6am for when it's fresh. Do I recommend anyone to stay here? Absolutely.

Stayed the weekend the room was nice and cleanReal nice rooms not gunna lie but as soon as we go in our room it was hot so I called front desk because I wanted another room but they have an ac thecnician working on ac doin his thing but it seems there ac cannot keep up with Texas heatI ask if that’s how all the rooms were the answer was yess we didntn wanna be in that room so they switched us to another room on level 3 and it was a little better of the first one but I felt like that lady didn’t want to switch us rooms

I typically have no issues with the Sheraton this was my first time staying at this one and as. Marriott member I expected more. There were blood stains in the sheets and luckily we only need the room for the night. I had the hardest time reporting this to Sheraton as there was no call back when I called to report this.
