"Great place for coffee and Thai food. When you go ahead, go through the kitchen and on the back deck. The lady who runs the restaurant is a home-style cook and the food has authentic flavors from the south. I would definitely recommend the Snapper with 3 flavors (sweet, sour and spicy) and the morning glory with fermented beans. It was delicious! Coffee is fresh and satisfying."

"We were here twice because of very tasty food and great service. Even if they didn't have something (f.e. chopsticks or beer) they went to the shop and buy. All dishes we have ordered were great and you don't have to wait long, like in other restaurants on the island."

"I had pad thai and fried tomorrow wonderfulness here and especially the tomorrow wonderfulness was delicious. also my friends liked their vegan foods. the prices seem to be cheaper than in other restaurants that have similar menus, except other restaurants in the usually do not have such a good vegan section if they have it at all. yawee is not a chic restaurant, but it is an open air restaurant on the main street near lanta animal welfare without interior architecture or other dinge that make more expensive in the regular restaurants. this place concentrates on good Thai food. when we arrived there at sunset, the place had only a few customers, but in about 15 minutes he was full. then it took a long time to get our food. so perhaps the place is crowded during sunset (only high season, on the next season many places close, because there are not many tourist.) I visited yawee in februar 2020."

"Lovely little place with a great and very reasonably priced wine collection. Food was excellent with a clearly thought-out and concise menu. (Delicious gorgonzola burger! Very cozy and warm decor and atmosphere. The owner and staff were very kind, welcoming and attentive. Will definitely return on our next visit to Lanta."

"Went here for dinner after reading good reviews but we were ultimately disappointed. The prices are ok and the atmosphere/decoration very pleasant but the food was poor in taste and quality. The veggie burger is just a potato/carrot pattie with some vegetables added and non-fresh lettuce. A sandy cucumber end was placed as a garnish. Worse was the vegetable tofu stir fry, which had rotten cabbage pieces. It seems that there was a general disregard for using fresh ingredients. When the cabbage issue was raised with the manager, she tried to suggest that the black rotten part was a result of the wok preparation, but when she saw we weren’t buying it offered to replace the dish. We chose to just return it which she was nice about."
