Jb Hook's - Lake Ozark

We had a knowledgeable and friendly waiter named Johnny, who really helped enhance our experience with his suggestions and friendly service. We especially liked the view of the lake and being at an exterior indoor table where it could be easily enjoyed. The quality of the food was really good and the selections were definitely unique and tasted wonderful regardless of what type of meal you are wanting to get. We tried a few different things and all were very nice and we appreciated the opportunity to get to visit this restaurant! I would say our timing was really good around 6:15 then it started to get busier later on. Hope we can get a chance to visit here again!

I have been coming to this location for 38 years through different owners. The food last night did not disappoint — husband had a spicy baked oyster appetizer, I had Hook's salad and Steak Neptune and hubby had Greek salad and Grouper, mixed vegetables of the day were perfectly done with a crunch. We shared a brownie and ice cream dessert which was yummy. Service was awesome but not a bother to us. Just FYI I had made reservations and although I did not request it, we were seated by the window which was a fantastic view. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing from the moment we first walked in. We were cordially greeted and shown to a table we requested. The server made some good suggestions which helped guide my order. She was very attentive without being overbearing! The food was divine! A “must-return” when we come back to the Ozarks.

The food and location are both absolutely amazing. My fiancée and I shared the stuffed lobster tail and lobster mac n cheese and were blown away with how fantastic everything tasted. The view was wonderful and the service was good as well. My only negative note was that we were celebrating her birthday and I put in the reservation notes to include a note for her on the table which was not done. Very very very strong 9/10

We had to wait even though we had a reservation. I didn't like that. The whole point of a reservation is not to wait. Waitress was kind but forgot my side order. The drinks and food were delicious. They came out quickly. We both had steak and shrimp. The view was phenomenal!
