Great portion sizes, good service and tasty food. The only complaint was how loud the restaurant was. Noise seems to carry easily and it was hard to enjoy conversation at the table. It was something noted by everyone in our party. View all feedback.
What TeamMan doesn't like about Acacia:
Acacia used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. No more. On a recent visit, I had Salmon with Spinach (see photo). Disappointing. The salmon was dried out and bland. Ditto for the spinach and rice. My wife had swordfish, which she said was just OK. Our server was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. I noticed that there are no TA reviews of Acacia in 2023. The smashburger was the cheapest grizzly burger meat. My friends pear salad was good. Lovely restaurant but quality of food needs to improve.
On Sat night, Feb 3 we hosted a birthday party with 26 guests. Lauren, of Acacia helped with excellent menu/seating plans 4 tables with appetizers brought out “family style”, followed by choice of salad, and each guest had a choice of 5 various entrees. The service was excellent, with food always presented hot, and at a nice pace. All guests expressed their pleasure with the excellent food. Becca and Hermes did an outstanding job “serving” the party. The cost was very reasonable, the staff was all very pleasant, and it’s in a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Acacia for your intimate meals, and for larger gatherings.
We’ve been dining at Acacia for years and absolutely love the dining experience that Lauren and Chris (owners) consistently provide. Chris is an amazing chef who always finds a way to pair new and creative flavors to his dishes and Lauren is an absolute pleasure to work with in planning any event; large or small.
This used to be my favorite restaurant in the area. No more. The quality has gone downhill. For example, the Salmon (see photo) with spinach was dried out and bland. So disappointing
