"So I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone except good look that eating is badly totally dry all that was fried was ok the chocolate and white chocolate fountain totally watery and the selection is probably micky have seen many other buffets. "With the Austrians in the swinging horse it is very laborious and they are spoiled with Styrian cuisine. the restaurant, which was set up in the old village centre of staaken and lovingly with swing horses as well as historical agricultural equipment, was a coincidence finding when we followed a sign at the nennhauser damm on the height of the old village church. the restaurant is located in an old cot (land house). the entrance is located on the side of the house opposite the garden, which houses a beer garden, in which they can safely sit very nicely in summer. Although the floor was taken out until the dach, the atmosphere is very cozy and cozy, especially because only a little daylight passes through the small windows and the lighting is very pleasantly damped. no fear, they can see what they have on the teller; the noise is pleasant, even at the place occupied in the last restaurant. central point of the restaurant is a large horseshoe-shaped counter made of dark wood. on a larger podest the Sunday brunch is built. otherwise there are also seats. the sanitary facilities are older but very clean. the owner, who greets his guests in the usually very cordially himself, really has a happy hand for hospitality, which is no longer as perfect everywhere as it is celebrated by him, as well as the friendly and carefree waiter and the waitress professional. they feel welcome and home now. When we showed up here on Sunday on the late afternoon without having a table reserved, we were not released, but were offered a place on the counter and a drink until a table was prepared. then we got the card and could feed a la carte despite Sunday brunch. just as perfect as the service is the kitchen. what we have eaten here so far, whether cerebral or Styrian gröstel served a kind of building breakfast in the cast iron pan, was excellent. the sections are more than sufficient to be filled. I recommend that you reserve a table for Sunday brunch, which is currently available for 19.80 from 10 o'clock. first, e.g. fresh, self-baked, warm broth, various types of rolling, ironing, sink, salami, cheese plate, jams, but also kartoffel salad and sausage, salmon and smoked fish, zucchini and champns with rosmarin. mozzarella and various salads etc. offered. from 11 o'clock a suppe fits the main dishes. there was a clear broth with flee and leberknödeln. from 12 o'clock the main courts are applied. last Sunday, the highlight was a delicious, crispy crust roast that was cut up before the eyes of the guests. In addition, carvings of white art, black-framed, wild boar and red-tone-filled, in addition wesing vegetables, vegetables of the day were a delicious colourful mix of seasonal vegetables, serviette dumplings, polnta and salt potatoes. also the self-made desserts, which are already offered for breakfast, such as various mousses, beer complete and obstsalat are simply heavenly. the Austrian obstbrände are also excellent. the rocky horse has become one of our favorite restaurants."

The staff is very friendly and will be happy to help the indecisive guest choose from the extensive map. The recommended wine for the ordered dishes was suitable. The prices are not really cheap, but the tried dishes were all very tasty and also visually appealing. The restaurant is very conveniently located close to an S-Bahn station, so you can also leave the car at home."
